Multi-Engine Flight Instructor Course

The Multi-Engine Flight Instructor (MEI) certificate can be obtained as an add-on to an existing CFI certificate or as an initial flight instructor rating. As its name implies, the MEI allows you to teach students to fly airplanes with more than one engine. The following estimate assumes the student meets all prerequisites set forth by the FAA before beginning the course. Rates subject to change.
