CorrosionX Treatments

We are an authorized CorrosionX Treatment Center . CorrosionX is a treatment for the entire airframe to displace moisture, stop/prevent corrosion on contact and provide long lasting protection. CorrosionX is widely used by the military for this purpose. A multi-functional product that is an exceptional lubricant for rod ends, hinges, locks, and closure mechanisms. Unexcelled penetrant for breaking loose rusted/corroded components (exhaust studs, inspection plate screws, etc.).

Does it work? Reports from the U.S. Army at Ft. Drum , NY indicate CorrosionX saved $4 million in refurbishment costs for aircraft treated with CorrosionX and later deployed to Somalia. A report in the July 31st, 1997 edition of Army Aviation provides more details. Similar findings were reported for helicopters used in Haiti. CorrosionX is used where you want corrosion control without a messy wax coating. The material dries to a non-sticky consistency that will not attract dirt like other lubricants and anti-corrosion materials.

Our trained staff uses a special Handi-Spray™ application system that has been designed especially to apply CorrosionX to the interior structure of the airframe. This applications system is designed to “fog” the material so that it will reach areas of the aircraft interior that other materials can’t reach. We also sell individual 16 oz. Aerosol cans for treatment by aircraft owners.
